The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the town, close to a variety of attractions, restaurants, supermarkets, and shops. Guests can easily explore the city center and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, with comfortable beds and cozy seating areas. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of delicious options to start the day.
Finding parking in the charming town can be a bit challenging, as the hotel's own parking facility is limited and often full. Guests may need to search for street parking or make use of public parking areas.

The rooms at Hotel-Gasthof Rose have a cozy country-style feel, which I absolutely loved. They come with a work desk, perfect for catching up on work or planning my itinerary. The private bathroom with a hairdryer was a bonus, making it convenient for me to get ready in the morning. Plus, some rooms even have a balcony, offering a lovely view of the surroundings. As a budget traveller, I couldn't have asked for more!
The only thing I liked less about the room was the bathtub in the bathroom. Personally, I prefer a shower, but I understand that others might enjoy a relaxing soak.

We got excellent value for our money with the Hotel-Gasthof Rose. The room was cozy, clean, and had a romantic atmosphere. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the town, and the staff treated us with utmost friendliness and warmth.
The food for breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of options.

Enjoyed the delicious regional cuisine at the Zur Rose restaurant. Explored the beautiful hiking and cycling trails nearby. Had a quiet and peaceful stay in Oberammergau's Hotel-Gasthof Rose.
Just loved how the staff hardly smiled and how the bed sheets were shabby and worn out. Such a well-priced two-star hotel with poor wifi and a landlady who simply couldn't stop making a racket during breakfast.
